A day of AI for accountancy and bookkeeping firms
An Expert Day for accountancy and bookkeeping firms.
At a firm like yours, AI arrives from every side, and usually next to the work. Three questions we hear often:
- Who keeps up with this? Most firms are small. Nobody has a department that follows what AI can do, so it happens in the evening or not at all.
- What may go in? A client file holds documents of very different sensitivity. Which may go into which AI, and do you know what colleagues already use?
- Who signs for it? In June 2026 the Dutch professional bodies NBA and NOREA published a guideline on AI in practice. An outcome you sign off stays your signature. How do you check it, and how do you record that?
Floris is a software engineer, builds AI agents and trains people. He spends a whole day with you, at the office or elsewhere, and works with a team on tasks from your own working day.
This is what his own work looks like: MatchClerk (video, 11 min). AI agents built an invoice check overnight: every purchase invoice next to its order and its receipt, and a changed bank account is held until someone has called the supplier.
In his book From Zero to AI Agents That Do The Work you do every chapter on a sample set of accounts.
