AI in provincial work
A practical Expert Day shaped around your provincial team’s work and questions.
Provinces work on permits and oversight, roads and waterways, nature, and spatial development. AI can support many of these tasks, while its use calls for choices that fit public responsibilities, the information involved, and the people doing the work.
From policy to everyday work
National guidance and tools provide direction. Applying them to a specific task, careful use, and clear team agreements takes attention to the work itself. An Expert Day therefore starts with tasks your staff actually handle.
- Information and tools. Which information belongs in which tool, and what agreements help staff use them carefully?
- Different ways of working. Where are colleagues already using AI, where are they unsure, and what shared ground rules would make the work clearer?
- From possibility to practice. Which recurring task could benefit from support, and how will your team review the result?
Experience in provincial government
From 2004 to 2015, Floris worked for the provinces of Fryslân and Drenthe as a software engineer and Information Security Officer. He knows provincial work from the inside and has experience with information security and privacy regulation. Today he builds AI agents and works with teams on practical applications. Read more about his experience.
During an Expert Day, Floris spends a full day with your team, working on tasks from your own working day at the provincial office or another agreed location.
In Human out of the loop, he describes ways to let AI work independently, with attention to safety and reliability.
