AI agents wrote a business plan and said themselves: not like this, not yet

Cover of the video Business agents: a square at dusk with a coffee bar and small robots, an orange band reading 36 pages. One verdict, and a yellow play button with 9 min.

It ran to 36 pages, for a fictional coffee bar in Leeuwarden.

On a Sunday evening I typed one question: what do agents need to start a business of their own? Not one big, vague agent, but small agents with one job each. One works out the concept, one reads what the banks write about the sector, one maps the competition, one works through walking routes and footfall. And then the prices, the rules, the plan, the premises and the money.

Each agent added a piece to one dossier, with a source for every claim. What they could not find is in there as an assumption.

The most interesting part came at the end, when all the pieces lay side by side. The plan needs more visitors than the best location brings. The banks count on higher staff costs. The interest is higher than assumed. And no premises fits under the rent ceiling. The agents' advice: adjust.

The last page is for a person: go on, adjust or stop. With an empty line for whoever decides.

The video is in English and takes 9 minutes: https://youtu.be/lPuiZ9mWaFM
