Every agent did its job. And still someone burned out

Three weeks after the first salon opens, the marketing agent reports success: forty new Saturday bookings, against a goal of thirty. A second agent checked the numbers. The log is complete.
On Monday the weekly review sees what nobody measured. Three therapists have not had a free weekend since the opening. One has called in sick.
The marketing role did nothing wrong. The planning role followed every rule. But nobody asked the question that neither role had as a task: what matters more here than our goal?
